I actually captured these images back in September when we traveled to Tybee Island. However, I simply had so many other fun and time sensitive post features to schedule that I decided to put this one on the back burner until now.
On our way to Tybee Island we passed through downtown Savannah, GA. I had never been before and was completely awestruck. As we drove by, I scoped out at least a hundred or more things I wanted to photograph in a matter of minutes. I was absolutely over the moon in love with the trees and the hanging Spanish moss. The trees and the buildings were truly amazing.
Since we were in a hurry, I naturally insisted that we stop on our way home so that I could take some pictures. Because of this, I was almost as excited to head home as I was to go to the beach since I knew the photo adventure was going to be fantastic. I was right in my assumption – with one minor drawback… I only got to take pictures for twenty minutes or so before it started raining on us. Even so, I was able to get a few decent shots. I’d love to go back and really explore the city someday.
