Memory Lane

This is going to be a different kind of post. I had wanted to feature something for the wandering category, but I’m afraid I am unprepared and too heartbroken to pour myself into work at the moment. For those who don’t know, I recently lost my Granny …one of the people I love most in this world.

So today we shall wander, but in a different sense. I’m going to wander down memory lane. Fret not; I will spare you sappy people pictures. No; the images shown here are more artistic in nature and hold some sort of sentimental value to me, as they are in one way or another connected to my Granny.

As you look through them you might find it amusing to know that Granny was always giving me a hard time about taking pictures of “ugly things.” I once drove her all over a Kentucky countryside looking for a particular barn (that I’d seen on our way to the cabin that we were vacationing in).  After quite some time and many a sarcastic comment from the backseat, I gave up.  However, I did find some very nice dilapidated structures to photograph along the way.

Here’s to priceless memories and to family.
