Counting my blessings instead of my birthday candles… And I found that I simply can’t count that high, for I am abundantly blessed.
For my birthday we took a family trip to Hilton Head as my “present.” On my special day I watched the sun rise over the ocean and thanked God for another year. Olivia, my sweet adorable daughter, gave me a card she picked out herself – a Paw Patrol one that also had Skye stickers in it. We played on the beach. We went kayaking and saw dolphins! We rode bikes to the little “downtown” area and ate dinner at a sandwich place. Then we went back to the condo and had cupcakes. I got lots of birthday wishes from loved ones and friends. And it ended as sweetly as it began… Kendall gave me goodnight hugs and kisses, and I got to snuggle Olivia until she fell asleep in my arms. Life is good. 💗
