Do you remember when I talked about how I was going to start dressing up more often? Yeah… well, today is not one of those days… I’m currently working from home in my robe, and frankly, I’m loving every minute of it. Mind you, my hubby likes to keep the house cool (which is an understatement; it’s more like a meat locker) so wearing a robe is sort of like being bundled up in a blanket with sleeves. And, this is the best robe EVER. I kid you not.
I recently had the privilege of going to a super swanky resort (more on that in a future post). You know, the kind that have robes hanging in the closet… Well, I fell positively head over heels in love with said robe. All other regular robes be damned. This one is far superior. I had to have it. And so, I took myself down to the gift shop and bought one of my own before heading home. I shelled out more than I ever thought I would for a garment, let alone a robe of all things, but seriously, no regrets!
My obsession with this robe continues… I wanted to be able to recommend it to family, friends, and followers, so after some sleuthing, I actually managed to hunt it down on Amazon. That’s right! I found it for you, and it’s even less because it doesn’t have the resort’s logo monogramed on it. (Who cares about that anyway?) You’re totally welcome, haha. Seriously though, check out this Chadsworth & Haig robe. You’re gonna love it.
You might be wondering why you might want to spend so much on a robe when you can get a perfectly decent one for $30 at Walmart. But, if this deluxe one is in your price range, I absolutely recommend it. It is beyond cozy. The outside microfiber shell is luxuriously soft, and the inside “minx lining” is incredibly warm and plush. It’s also safe to say that you’ll feel pampered every time you put it on (even if you’re just working from home). In fact, it’s possible you’ll want to live in it and never leave the house again. Although, if you’re like me, that’s not such a stretch of the imagination, haha.
