About the Image:
I was thinking of titling this image, “Oops, I’m Late…” because it sort of has a Cinderella vibe to it, though that wasn’t really my intention. I’m actually pretty excited about this piece. I’ve had a vision of what I wanted it to look like for some time now, and though it changed just a bit, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. (Of course, I suppose I’m also partial because it features my baby girl in it…) Funnily enough, it took me longer to find, and purchase, the pocket watch than it did for me to create this image. I hunted for quite a while for exactly what I wanted and finally found the watch face I was looking for (which is actually only an inch in diameter).
My intent in the creation of this image is to remind myself, and others, that time flies by quickly, and all we really have is now. So, enjoy your moments and be present in this beautiful gift of life.
