Autumn is here and that means it’s time for football season and comfort food, so I thought a recipe for one of the best-snacks-ever might be in store…
This tasty treat is courtesy of my aunt who makes these scrumptious pretzel bites on a regular basis. They are one of her claim to fame treats and they tend to disappear rapidly at any family function.

Pretzel Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 boxes Snyder’s hard pretzels
- 3/4 – 1 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (powdered)
- 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
Directions:
Break pretzels up into bite size pieces. Mix ingredients and pour onto pretzels. Stir and evenly cover pretzels. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Stir frequently.
