I love to go hiking, especially when the weather is absolutely gorgeous. Spring and fall are my favorite times to go because I’m a self-described, prissy hippie. I love nature, but I hate bugs (because they LOVE me) and I’m not really fond of sweating either, ha. My daughter on the other hand, loves to be outside no matter what, but isn’t always so very fond of hiking. In an effort to entice and entertain my little sidekick, I made up this fun hiking scavenger hunt.
And I thought I’d share it in case you might find yourself in the same boat (or park…). It could also be just a fun outdoor activity! This particular hunt is intended to be low maintenance so as not to slow your roll too much (I do have other more elaborate ones). All you need is this list and a writing utensil so that your kiddo can simply check off the items as you walk.
