I’m not sure this featured tasty treat actually constitutes as a recipe since it’s so incredibly quick and easy to make (with only three ingredients!). Nonetheless, these are still fun to “chef up” and quite yummy. And if you’re like me, when it comes to anything in the kitchen, directions are always helpful.
I was first introduced to these when my cousin brought them to a family gathering, and they were an immediate hit! So, whether you’re looking for something simple to bring to your next get-together, or perhaps just want to indulge in a delicious snack, give these a try.
Ingredients:
- Bag of Rolos (milk chocolate or dark chocolate according to preference)
- Bag of mini pretzels
- Bag of pecan halves
Directions:
First, unwrap all of the Rolos from their wrappers and preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Then, place mini pretzels an inch or so apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Next, top each pretzel with a Rolo. (If you push down very gently, it helps to keep them in place.) Then, pop them in the oven for 2 – 3 minutes, or until the chocolate is soft, but not melting. Last, take them out and immediately push a pecan half into each one, smashing the chocolate. And there you have it… Possibly the easiest dessert to make. *Chef’s kiss!
